Any of these jump out as being great deals, average prices, or poor prices? All are 2005 models and include steps, delivery to where we want the hot tub to be, starter chemicals, cover, and cover lift. Does not include tax. We started looking 10/1 - these are the narrowed down choices. Going now to wet test - looking for really powerful jets - knock you out of your seat/make you itch kind. ;)
Marquis Epic - $8,150
D1 Chairman II - $8,950
D1 Venture - $7,600 (includes cd/stereo, no ozonator)
Coleman Maaxim 705 - $8,250
Coleman C482 - $7,250 (includes premium package plus CleanZone system and color optic lighting)
Sundance Maxxus - $11,100 (no ozonator; cd/stereo add on is another $1,000)
Sundance Cameo - $9,250 (no ozonator; cd/stereo add on is another $1,000)

Those are good prices on the Colemans. I have a 2004 706 and absolutly love it. Good luck wet testing!
-
that is a good price on the Epic as well.
-
Sundance $$$ in the ballpark as well.
-
Looks like the Epic is a good price and the Sundance is terrible.

While higher than the others, those Sundance prices seem to be in the range of previous posted prices and the "range" I got here. Try not to let your dealings with the local dealer bias your opinion of the brand. It still is a nice spa.
As a side note to Goldy, any of the mentioned spas should provide adequate power if you divert the flow to an individual seat. If you plan on taking long soaks, make sure the seating and spa is comfortable when you aren't getting hammered (by the jets). The wet test is very critical since you are looking at several models with lounges. Lounges seem to accomodate a much narrower range of people. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

In STL the Altamar is $8400. I was thinking of the Marin and not the Cameo. Sorry bout that. Forgot which one the Cameo is now.

That's a great price on the Epic. We just got ours a week ago, and LOVE IT!! We found once we actually got it we were amazed at the power. Didn't seem to notice that in the wet test. Of course, it was the wet test that sold us on the Epic. Maybe the salesperson just didn't have it full out.
Several people on this forum have recently bought Epics and we all LOVE them.
Good luck!

I paid 9500.00 plus 6% sales tax for a new Sundance Optima. The deal included delivery, stair, cover and lift, stereo, and chems.
-
We have an '05 Maxxus, and the price you have is higher than what we paid, not by a lot, but the Maxxus will definitely blow you out of the seat!! We love it.
-
I think those prices make a lot of cents.
Sorry, I couldn't resist. ;D

The Epic is a $1000-$2000 less than what it should sell for. Great price.
