I actually cant believe that my question about s.. in a hot tub could be concidered offensive. it was a serious question. if any of you are offended im sorry for you, quite sad, i will be more careful with the content from now on.

I personally don't think your question was offensive, however I agree with the moderator that the content of the thread was going quickly down hill.

Your question was not offensive but the direction the thread had taken was probably beyond repair. It was obviously removed due to the left turn it had taken and not to the original question. BTW, I hope you found a viable solution!

I agree with Guzz, the question was fine. The thread did go downhill a bit, but that happens. It's a good indicator that people here do feel comfortable.
That question does come up from time to time, and the first responders usually offer serious answers.

I was a late responder, and my answer was 100% serious, and yet, it was probably what was considered offensive and caused things to go down hill.

I did not find your response vulgar, disguesting, or offensive. I did find it refreshingly truthful. Hey, we're all adults here. What's wrong with a little sexual banter every now and again? Agreed, the thread was going down hill but I don't think there was ONE person responsible for that.

In the faceless world of the internet, things can get out of hand. I too was part of the sexual banter but tried to keep it light and not too descriptive or be nasty. I will never see any of you but I have enough respect for all of you not to get down right nasty or descriptive. Personally, I don't think anyone did in that thread.
I understand that this is a family oriented site and quite honestly when my kids were around the computer I wouldn't open the thread.
I also understand that Bill had to do what he had to do but at the same time know that if there's a thread on WTB not for me, I don't view it. Of course, the content is at the discretion of the moderators and not me.
I guess we're keeping Bill on his toes!! ;D

Thank you and no, my marriage proposal did not have any sort of "I dare you" attached to it.
Actually, how we got together is a good story...Way too lengthy to put here. OK...here's the Readers Digest version: We stood up in a wedding as maid of honor-best man about 15 years before we got married. I was married at the time and she got married later. We both divorced eventually and later met up again.
