Title: Hot Springs Vista diverter valves
Post by: lbnaz on October 21, 2005, 09:38:29 am
 Hi all,
Been lurking here for a while now, learned alot. I have a question concerning the position of the Diverter valves on my Spa. I have a 2005 Hot Springs Vista.
My manual says to use either the 3 or 6 O'clock position to switch between series of jets. Frequently my wife and or kids will change the position somewhere in between, does this hurt anything? Being able to vary the position also varies the amount of flow being put out to each series of jets but, I don't know if its ok to do this. What say the Experts?

If you can reach it and turn it while your sitting in it, it ain't going to hurt anything - that's why it was put there.

Actually, the best part is playing with all the new knobs and settings to find out exactly how you like it best!

Enjoy

We almost always keep our HS Envoy diverters in the 6 o'clock position.  We find that this give us more than enough power to all the jets.  We only use 3 or 9 when we really need to get blasted.

It'll be fine.  Spin 'em to your heart's content.
