Title: hydro bill came in today
Post by: bosco0633 on October 19, 2005, 11:28:09 am
Hello all,

I just recieved my hydro bill for two months that I have had the tub now.

My last bill for hydro for June and July here in ontario canada was 242.

My bill for August September just came in and it is 258.72.

Now granted, I dont think that the heater has been used that much but, I am very impressed with the results.

Just to restated it is the arctic tundra signature series.

Since ya'll call your electric bill "hydro bill", do you call your water bill "electro bill"? ;D

That is about average for my size of home.

He is paying approximately $.07/kW hour.

What were your bills same time last year? Was the rate the same?

ya we weird ontarians call them Hyrdo Bills.  Bosco does your hydro bill not include your water and sewer too?  ours does.  We are paying between about $110.00 and $135.00 per month and that includes our Water and Sewer and our house is around 1800 SQ Feet.

My electric bill for ONE month was $228 last month and we don't even have a hot tub.  That is just electric, my gas was $25, water was $60.  I'm actually impressed with how LOW my bill was.  Last year for the same time it was much higher (over $300)... but we installed an efficient AC and saved over 25%.

Oh, my house is tiny 1225 sq ft.

Ha! Ha! Ha! ;D ;D ;D

My boss came by to take me to lunch today.  I told him about what a great sales tool this forum is, how much insight I get from other salespeople, and what valuable feedback is given by spa shoppers.  I emphasized that I think everyone in our company should take advantage of the information on here.

I then went on to explain what a valuable member I am to this board, how everyone loves the Pic O' the Day, how well respected and beloved I am here.

Well, wouldn't you know, this was the very first post we looked at, bigger than daylight on the 42" plasma screen

If I told you I'd have to kill you.   ;D

In winter it will drop $100/mo or so and the gas only goes up ~$20.  (We have gas heat, gas stove, gas hot water.)

We do have a stupid way too big HDTV that is on 24/7, 2 computers, lights that never get turned off, a 2nd fridge, a deep freezer, etc. etc.

yeah our bill is broken down hydro and water.

this is for two months at a time we get our bill

so 258can,    I am paying a 129 can a bill which is just over 100 us a month.  my water is about 35 a month canadian.

so actually 164 a month is not that bad for us, I have a 2200 sqft home two story.

want to talk property taxes, in hamilton where I am from, I will be paying over 5000 in property taxes next year.

Now that is nuts.

anyways what I was trying to show, was that my hydro has only gone up about 10 can. a month.  so far, we will see how winter goes.

My bills are slightly higher than last year, but times change I guess.

I pay $6500 a year in property tax for a 1800 sf house, my electric was about $170 for the month of Sept with the ac running.

Ok...I'm thinking I'll trade with you all??  My electric bill for August was $310.74 and October was $301.41.  That includes water, sewer, and trash.  My house is about 1800 sq.ft.

I don't even have a hot-tub yet....GEEZ!!!

I told him you didn't much care for the Tammy ones, that I got the impression you swung the other way. ;D

By the way, what did your pig latin phrase mean?  I interpreted it as "The idiot American eats stupid Canadian trout while looking at his reflection in his truck."  I don't have a truck.
