Can you confirm what he's been telling us. Is he really an ex-Mr. Olympia?

I learned to shoot by putting as many rounds as I could into that little horse shoe in the center of the can...I attribute all of my Marksman and Sharpshooter metals to Olympia Beer!

Olympia Beer began brewing in 1896 at a site along the Deschutes River and continued until Prohibition. After Prohibition ended, a new brewery was erected just upstream from the original. It was a very popular regional Pacific Northwest brand which eventually expanded nationwide, positioned as a low-price beer. During the 1970s, Olympia acquired Hamm's.
As with many other regional breweries, this brewery was eventually bought and passed through several corporate hands including Pabst, G. Heilman, and Stroh's, until the brewery was eventually purchased by SABMiller. For a time, the Olympia brewery took over the brewing of other Pacific Northwest brands as their original breweries were closed one by one, including the Lucky Lager brewery in Vancouver, Washington, the Henry Weinhard's brewery in Portland, Oregon, and the Rainier Beer brewery in Seattle, Washington. Miller closed the Olympia brewery on July 1, 2003. The Olympia Beer brand still survives today, owned and brewed by SABMiller.

WOW the vast array of things Spatech t.u.o. knows always amazes me. You are a regular Elcyclopedia of random knowledge. Or maybe it's just spas and beer? Anywhoo, we got samples of the Brilliance at our stores and used it on our spas, and just loved the stuff. We still don't carry it though :-[

Except for the fact that Pabst owns it now and that info came from a website that was 2 years outdated.... ;) ;)

LOL. I was just curious as to what happened to the Seattle connection as I always thought of it as a Notrthwest beer. Sad, next thing we know they'll start making Old Milwaukee in El Paso.

As my customer and friend t6Texan alluded, we do carry Brilliance. I love the stuff! The Mermaid dispenser needs some improvement, but the water quality is better than anything else I've seen. It is so clear and absolutely sparkles.

What is Brillance? Chlorine,Bromine.?? I am getting ready to do my last water change before winter and may try that. If I have bad luck with it can I go back to chlorine without a water change? Thanks Jim
-
Brilliance is the only 100% bromine product. Most bromine is still 70-80% diclor. As for being able to switch without a water change I would assume you could but I'm sure Terminator would know for sure.
