Title: Silver ion/ nature 2- replace it, please

2 service calls today produced deteriorated natur2 cartidges, sucked into jet pumps,circ.pumps and temporarily clogging some jet lines.

We all forget when to replace it/ or forget it's in there.
Use the sticker that comes with the cartidge and stick it to the underside of your filter lid. or use a Sharpie and write the week and month on the underside of the filter lid.

We (they) are supposed to replace it at every water change and don't we (they) inspect it every filter cleaning.

That tells you that THEY don't take care of the tub too well!

I never felt comfortable putting a mineral cartridge inside the filter as instructed.  In an Optima, you cannot do it anyway.  I have always placed it on top and with the Sun Purity N2 cartridge, it fits in a little compartment in the filter wier.  Can't get sucked into the plumbing this way and has always worked fine.
