But the electrician can't come until tomorrow. :'( My question is this, should I have my spa filled or empty tomorrow morning when he comes? I don't expect he will wait around while the spa fills so he can turn the power on. So should I fill it in the morning before he comes? Thanks. :)
Also:
1. The thin white strap that's around the filter. Does that stay on? (T.R. Caspian)

I would fill it so that I could test it before he leaves.

So long as the spa does'nt have to be moved at all you could fill it today, and the white strap stays on. Congratulations, may you have much Tigertherapy... Guzz

Thanks for your replies. ;)

It only takes about 45 minutes to fill but if you/he want to move it a bit you'll need to know that ahead of time. I would discuss this with the electrician and let HIM decide but also let him know you want to fill it and see it running before he leaves. He could time it to start filling as he's winding down and cleaning up.

Good idea. Thanks.

the thin band stays on. eventually it will fall off.
Make sure the electrician trims the mouse screen neatly. look closely, there are pre-punched areas/knockouts for 3/4" conduit.
or take the mouse screen off all together and refit it yourself after he/she has completed the electrical work.

Have I wished you hot, clean, bubbly water for many years to come??
You are almost in Spatopia! Enjoy it!

Thanks Lori. ;) All I have is cold water at the moment though. Darn electrician can't come until tomorrow. We've been expecting him since monday. He says his truck is in the shop. I'm trying to be patient, but it isn't easy seeing that beautiful water out on my patio. :'(

I went through something similar. Just remember, when you DO get hot water, all of this frustration from waiting and being delayed will quickly melt away! This will all be a distant memory pretty soon! Hang in there!

Thanks. :)

If you ran 220v it'll be warm sooner than 9-10 hrs. Hope your Tigger Rivver serves you well.

Yup. Unfprtunately the worst thing you can do to your tub is actually get in it. That screws up the water chemistry. Most of us just balance and b!tch about the water.
Actually get in the Tub? That's Crazy Talk!
