Title: Thar she blows!

It's 10:00 am CDT and I just put the open sign out.  The winds gusting at around 30 mph and the rain's a fallin'.  I've got an Envoy out at the Food and Wine Festival, but we've got no power out there.  Tornados are popping up here and there, and people are out and about.

Went out to the winery last night and tried some of the local product.  Now, I'm no wine connoiseur (I am kind of partial to

if anyone hadn't realized THAT), but that wine was AWESOME.  I tried the Rodeo Red and the Sweet Cynthiana.  Loved em!  Any wine lovers out there might want to check them out at http://www.lospinosranchvineyards.com.

Will update throughout the day on Hurricane Rita until I get blown away!  Take care. 8)

Thank ya, drprwnap, I appreciate your concern.  It's just a little rain and wind right now, and we need the rain.  Probably don't need 2 feet of it, though.

Gonna be an interesting day.  It's kind of an adventure.

I sat watching CNN in my hotel room last night until about 2:30am and I actually thought about you hoping all was well. I'm glad you're OK!

Thank you, Steve.  I really appreciate it.

Well, my helper just called and said she can't make it today.  She is hunkered down at home with her family.  Now I feel kind of guilty leaving my wife and daughter at home.  I did stock them up with water, food, flashlights, and I loaded their guns for them, so they ought to be good to go!
