I have wet tested both and am interested in which is the better deal. I found the Niagara for $7800 with steps, lift, chemicals and found the Vanguard for about $7600 with the same items included.

Vanguard, hands down, is the better deal for your money.

Hot Spring is the premium brand from Watkins and the price is better! What other choice is there but the Vanguard. Enjoy your new spa!

I would call it a wash and go with whichever feels and/or fits you best. The price on both appears to be very competitive and they both have solid reputations. If you are terribly concerned, you can always ask the Caldera dealer for $200 more off. Personally, I like the layout of the Caldera better with it's four corners seating with one corner doubling as lounge with foot jets. I found the HS Motomassage did not live up to its hype. But that's just my opinion.

I paid $8000 for my Vanguard two weeks ago, so your price is really good. I guess the moto-massage is a personal choice, but I love mine. I have to turn it down a bit, but I really enjoy the up and down motion of the water. I find it very relaxing after teaching school all day!!

Thanks, I appreciate your input. I do like the Niagra just a bit better in the way I sat in it and I liked the foot rest. If they are both comparable then I think I will choose the Niagra! ;D

The Niagara would be my choice, when I finally buy my tub it will be a Niagara!! Great Spa! :D
