I'' assumeing those folks are drinking soda pop. Hot Springs hot tub owners manual clearly warns about drinking alchohol while in the hot tub.

I assume because they are afarid you might spill your drink.  ;)

25,000 gallon pool / 500 gallon tub = 50:1

9 people= 450:9

Per gallon, 9 people in a tub would be like 450 people in a pool, lol.  Yeah, I will be using chemicals.  ;D
