Title: The strangest place that you've pitched a spa?
Post by: spahappy on August 04, 2005, 04:21:48 pm
My co-worker just came in from a doctors appointment ( that yearly thing that women have to do)

Anyway, she said her gynocologist and family are scheduled for a wet test tonight. :o

I said you didn't really pitch a spa during that procedure did you? Oh yeah she said, it broke that uncomfortable silence. :-X :-/

I pitched a tent at the Balloon Race.  We even got pictures of it on our website at http://www.hotspringspasofshreveport.com/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=1

A slightly different subject, same idea.

Last year my 12 yr old son had surgery so the doctor came out afterward to say all went well, this is what to expect, yada, yada and then asked a question which somehow led to what I do for a living which led to an issue he was having with his spa and we talked for 10 minutes to determine the problem and I told him I'll give the part he would need to fix it when we come back in a couple days for his office visit. When the doctor left my wife looked at me and said "even in post-op after our son's surgery I have to listen to spa talk, is there any escaping this". ;D

In my co-workers defence,..Her Doctor asked her about spas first. Turns out the good Doctor has been thinking about buying a spa for some time and just hasn't taken the time to go shop for them.

She sold him a Coleman 706.

Hmm, since I've already done that dreadful thing this year, I might make an appointment with my eye doctor ::) ::) ::)

A friend's wife rushed to her gynecologist exam...she couldn't figure out why it seemed the doctor and nurse couldn't keep a straight face while doing her exam.  When she returned home, she realized why...in her hurry to get to her appointment she had done a quick clean up with a washcloth on the sink...that her daughter had used to clean off her glitter hair gel the night before!!!! :o  :o  Hmmmm, they probably thought she was just trying to be "pretty" and "sparkly" LOL!!
