Trying to decide.. has anyone wet tested both or own either.. I need help before I make a 10k plunge
-
Although I own a lower end Artesian and am happy with it, apparently the Platinum series is supposed to be awesome. And people with the D1 say the same!
What did you like best and did you wet test them?
-
I wet tested the Chairman ll by D1 but have not wet tested the Artesian.. I like the idea of a pump for every seat but hear a lot about leaks?
-
It seems the only leaks you really need to worry about is from the pump seals and they are greatly affected by water chemistry.
Good water chemistry = longer pump seal life!
-
So you heard good things about D1? I tested it and liked it but felt the price was kind of steep. Also, the lounge seet was suited for people over 6' tall. I am 5'9"

i looked into getting a d-1 lotus bay. when i talked to the dealer, i knew he was full of shit when he said the spa doesn't need any chemicals, never even looked at one cause of that stupid statement.
anyway bought an artesian dove canyon for less $ and lovin' every minute of it.

Did you wet test a bunch of spas?
-
Hair-
the dove canyon is the one I am going to wet test on monday.. Did you wet test other brands?
-
yes, about 6 of the major manufacturers wet tested and lots and lots of internet research. but be sure to wet test.
-
but never wet tested the D1 because of the salesmen..
How about the master spa?
-
no, just looked at master . didn't impress me.
-
Bought a D-1 Aurora II in May. It's GREAT!!!!! No problems, easy maintenance, filters clean quickly and easily, use SpaGuard bromine and see no build-up. Wet tested Coleman, Artesian, Hot Springs, Jacuzzi and decided on D1 because of the $$$$ deal.

I looked at the Master but the dealer never called me back when he got an 850 model in.
