Title: cleaning spa before filling it...
Post by: Rachel on July 18, 2005, 06:07:35 pm
Hi,

Question from a rookie... we have a spa that is almost ready to fill.  We've had workers building a deck around it and in between time it has gotten a little bit of rain water and some dirt in it.  We are going to wet vac out the rain water but how do you suggest I clean the debris and dirt?  I believe you cannot use any type of chemicals or household cleaners.  Should I just use warm water and a cloth?

Thanks! Sorry if it's a stupid question but this is our very first spa and I literally know nothing about owning one or how to take care of one.

Check with your spa dealer, they should carry some sort of surface cleaner.  Don't use anything too sudsy!
