Title: ducky.....ducky where is my ducky!?
Post by: Backpains on June 22, 2005, 09:35:33 am: ok, I love the duck that HS uses in their tubs, and I want one for mine the problem is....I didn't buy a HS so...anyone know where I can find Mr. Cool Ducky with the sun glasses on? oh and I don't want to pay 20 bucks for a duck either

Post by: doodoo on June 22, 2005, 09:50:41 am: My dealer (Sundance) has the Sunny Ducky in his showroom. He had the name of his retail operation put on it as well as the tel number and uses it as a giveaway promotion. I have about a dozen floating in my pool as we speak.

"Yesssss!!!!! Score!" And I high fived my wife. "Free Duck! Yes! "

I only know of one place you can get a real, (not)live, authentic HS ducky.

I will send you a couple of them if you PM me with the shipping address.

In fact, if you'll give me a couple of days, I'll get some Tiger River ducks for you as well - I'm out of those right now though...let me know if you want to collect the whole set.

Accept no substitues! HotSpring duckies are the only ones which carry the ETL mark for product safety, are neutered painlessly to prevent nesting and other messy behaviour, and have been carefully trained not to tell about any human behavior they may happen to be witness to in the hot tub. That's why our ducks wear the shades.

Also, they are weighted to float upright, are fully foam insulated, know their way around a skimmer, never molt and are compatible with all sanitizing methods for hot tubs. And they raise the resale value of your home.

And as we all know, there is a certain amount of pride that goes into owning something as exclusive as this - you shouldn't be surprised to find out that many of our customers take their duckies to work with them and proudly display the HotSpring logo for all to see.

BTW - HotSpring duckies fully understand that not everyone owns a HotSpring spa, and they are not the least little bit 'uppity' about bringing smiles to the faces and joy to the hearts of all hot tub owners. They are fully compatible with all brands.

What's the warrenty on the HS Duck? What about winter use for the duck.?

I was told that a DIAT insulated duck is far and away a much superior duck.

How does one sort through all the conflicting info about Ducks?

What kind of a society harbors people who would go around stealing sixteen-foot high ducks? I would put that at the same level as someone who would peddle an unsafe appliance...

Vinny - You are going to think this is part of the joke, but please be aware that any squirting toy that sits in a hot tub can become filled with algae, bacteria and other nasty stuff. If you then grab it and squirt it into somebody's eyes, you may have a problem. That's why rubber duckies sold today no longer have the little squeeker built in - they are sealed.

I know - just when you thought it was safe to have some fun....

Thanks for the warning - it actually empties itself when you pick it up. It'll probably sit in the tub for a short while, then get annoying, then out it goes. I also will put it in my pool where the chlorine is usually in the 3 PPM range all the time - hopefully that will keep it clean and sanitized.

Of course you can be goofing on me due to my "initial disinfection" that I did and seems to be odd to all - I can't see if you have a smirk on or not as I read you message! ;)

The only one I didn't buy from him, I found at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and is huge! Not quite the one that Stuart is missing, but he is about 12" high. He wears a little rain hat! I usually let him float if we are having a cook out!

No, as a rule HotSpring duckies are very well-behaved. They are generally polite, quiet, and they would never take on aires about enjoying a soak in a non-HotSpring spa.

They have been taught the important truth that the best hot tub in the world is the one in your backyard.

at least I have a video of the guy stealing him that the police can use. It's very dark but it does look like a collage age kid... >:( >:( :(

I have several of my neighbors that around christmas time lose grinchs and those inflatible decorations outside, one told me she just replaced her grinch and isn't about to put it outside....it's on her ROOF!
