Three months ago, Master Spas put their 7th dealer in 4 years in to play in the Indianapolis market. Yesterday it was a "fully functioning store." Today, nothing but a barren ghost town. I feel for the poor spa buyers that purchased from them, because I can gaurentee you Master isn't sending anyone dowm from the Ft. Wayne factory to perform warranty work. In their own back yard no less! tisk tisk tisk!

It is a shame that this manufacturer can not sell it's product and support it's dealers based on the content and performance of the product quality, coupled with dealer support and services even when a dealer goes out of business.
Most if not all of the quality manufacturers would have their phones ringing off the hook from reputable dealers wanting to represent them. Especially, so close to the manufacturer's home base, where you could pick them up and not pay freight.
Don't you think? ???

No one will pick them up here, except for those that are blindly jumping in, because the Master Spas factory WILL NOT give up the Home Show, the Flower and Patio Show or the State Fair to the local dealer. He/she doesn't even get a spiff off of all the tubs sold at those venues, why in the name of the creator would anyone take that on?!?

The dealer in Metro Detroit area is just as bad as the rest. Three months ago there was a pool and spa show in Novi where roughly 20 dealers (of all brands) paid to set up at the show. The same time of this show the local Master Spa dealer advertised that the pool and show in Novi had been moved to a new location where just the Master Spas were shown. The Master Spa dealer took out TV ads, radio ads, and newspaper ads to steel and deceive customers. Of course the Novi Pool and spa show was never moved. I feel bad for the customers who buy a Master Spa because they are a deceitful company.

They did the same thing in Phoenix 1 year ago. They are doing it all over the country. When I asked to put my spas in their show,Sorry we're full. When iarrived at the show sure enough Master,Softubs and a few other small, economy spas and an antire empty fairgrounds.

The only thing I dislike about Masterspas is the dealer locator on their website. Wisoki this is not directed at you But I am in a slightly sleep deprived mode and a little irratated with some of the topics of the last couple of days. So, to make sure this wasn't a rehash, I wanted to see if I could find this dealer that closed down in that area. Darn that dealer locater of theirs!
I also find myself defending my nuetrality lately, but like Cal Spas, the Master dealer here in Columbus has been around a long time, has lots of satisfied customers. And like Cal Spas, I have another friend who has a Master, in this case, 1050LX I think that is 4 years old and he hasn't had problem one. His only problem with the dealer was the delivery took about 4 weeks longer than promised. The dealer here in town doesn't participate in any type of shows as far as I'm aware. Maybe I'll have to stop in and talk to him about what he thinks of the Master Marketing strategy, because its been mentioned by several credible members of this forum.

Am I in that credible column? If so I may have to start my own board to dis-credit myself.

Please, feel free to authenticate. Their address was on Pendleton Pike Indianapolis, IN in the same parking lot with PT's show club and Cue and Billiard Showcase. It was definitly not a location issue, as that store belonged to the local Sundance dealer who was in that location for 17 years and moved 1 mile down the road into a much larger warehouse type showroom.
