Title: How long to wait to re-test water?
Post by: drober30 on June 20, 2005, 09:14:51 pm
After you add an increaser or decreaser to adjust your water chemistry how long do you have to wait to test again to get an accurate reading?

It varies,  Chlorine can be rechecked in a few minutes. I allow 24 for PH, not sure about hardness or Alk, but I wait 24 hours.

Same as above!

Patience is a virtue, when it comes to water care!

Same here, about a day.  In my earlier days of spa ownership, I tended to over manage the water .
