Title: Is a fair price? Artesian
Post by: witt5150 on June 12, 2005, 01:49:15 am
Been lurking around 4 some time now. The artesian antigua model with all the extras. 46 jets, stereo, LED lighting, waterfall, SS jets, (no ozonater/ circ pump). It is a floor model 2004 MSRP $6299, asking $5500. What do you think? Also What caveats (if any) are there with it being a floor model? Should I ask if it was ever wet? and if so what weighting should that have with my decision?

That's an excellent price!

I bought a 2005 Cayman at a 2004 price for $6700, without stereo and waterfalls. It does have the ozone and circ pump.

I would say go for it!

As long as your getting the full warranty there shouldn't be any problems at all. As far as it being a floor model, I would say that if it has what you want in it and you like the color then why not save some money. But this is just my opinion.

Good luck.

I have the Grand Bahama.  And I agree with Vinny.  Go for it.  That's a fair price.  Wet test it if you have any other questions.

I agree.  That is a great price.  There should not be any issues with a floor model, as long as you are OK with it maybe having a ding or a scratch.  Factory warranties are still the same.
If it is a wet display, at least you know it doesnt leak.   ;)
