Post by: jetster on June 03, 2005, 10:12:04 am
The jetsetter was great, no awesome I slept like a baby after our first soak. Just to check the insulation I turned the temp down to 95 deg. from 102. overnight the temp in the hot tub  dropped 2 degrees and it got down to 43 deg. outside last night.  ;D

Now resist the temptation to check the water chemicals hourly!  :)  Hopefully you have had a couple of good nights now.

Bill is right! You typically get 10 test strips in a start up kit, that should last about 4 to 6 weeks. Most new owners use them up in the first 4 days!

Enjoy!!

WE also got our tub with in the last week.  And I agree,we have used more than our share of test strips.  But we are learning together which is good.  Why we didn't buy a tub a few years back I'll never know because we missed out all of these years.  Now I know there were some posts about wearing a suit or no suit.  Well last night We were sitting there with no light on and my wife says boy this sure does feel nice and I got the suit threw right in my face.  Well, she was right.  The no suit thing is great!!!!  Just a great time sitting in there each time and after driving 12 hours a day like I do it really helps on the stiffness of the legs and back.

VWBuff:

I just had my beautiful, baby-blue with brand-new white interior '74 beetle stolen!!

This is the second vehicle I have had stolen in the last several months!

The other vehicle was a work truck which we later got back. This one has so much good stuff on it I have a feelin' I've seen the last of it - even if it shows up somewhere it's likely to be stripped.

At least the cop who took the report was a fan of old bugs and sort of 'understood.'
