Sure. Have them check his head while they're in the general vicinity.

Or just give him Yorag's number.

My Arctic dealer recently dropped the Cal Spa line. He told me they had issues with every one they installed and went on to say that he did not want his store to have a questionabe reputation.
-
I have spent 38% of the purchase price on repairs in two years - they suck!
-
Oh reallllllyyyy! Gee maybe I ought to just forget that one completely they seem a bit cheaply! If ya know what I mean!
-
send him to a d-1 dealer the adjustable neck jet will be right up his back and neck ; ;D

I agree...no sense adding insult to injury ;D

Now that is the pot calling the kettle black! ??? :o ??? :o ???
I am absolutely not a fan of CalSpa however, they have many, many, many more years of experience in spas than Arctic and wrote the book Arctic preaches from!
I agree with dadofrad, have him try D1 or another company with adjustable neck jets....Oh, Wait! there isn't another company with adjustable neck jets!
Anyhow, I think your buddy will have to wet test whatever he is interested in as soon as he is able and see if it helps.

Calspa may have many more years of experience, but few would argue that that Arctic is plagued by the quality problems that Calspa is. Is it that you think that Arctic Spa make a poorly constructed spa?
Arctic Spa dropped the line due to quality problems...regardless of what technology they share.

I don't think Arctic has been manufacturing spas the way they do long enough to know what issues with surface over time....
IMO, both companies depend more on marketing and story telling than engineering and proven technology.
