OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Police have a pretty good idea who the burglar was who broke into a home, ate a meal, soaked in a hot tub and stole $4,000 worth of tools.
A driver's license was found near the hot tub in Nathan Sassamon's home.
"It's not a pleasant feeling to know someone has been in your home, especially when you see these people made themselves comfortable," Sassamon said.
Police still are searching for the 27-year-old man whose identification they found.
Sassamon said he was out of town over the weekend and returned home Sunday to find that an air compressor, eight tool boxes, a television and a stereo system were missing. Several other items had been taken, and dirty dishes were left in the kitchen.
Sassamon said his home was locked but the burglar apparently got in through a dog door in the garage and pried a door to get into the house.
Moral to this story, if you are going to "borrow" someone's hot tub while they are away, don't leave your wallet behind!!!

The story didn't say if the perpetrator shocked the spa after his/her soak. ;)

What irresponsible journalism! They don't even mention the brand/model of the hot tub. Since the criminal fit though the pet door, this doesn't rule Lori out. You just had to tell somebody didn't you? Having 2nd thoughts about the Vanguard, or are you just hooked on wet testing?

Ok, I'll stick with the addicted to wet testing angle.
I just assumed boyfriend. It worked for Demi Moore didn't it? Or if I want to go the desperate housewives route, your husband's name is Carlos correct?

Reminds me of the guy who stole my truck several months ago - he left all sorts of identifying paperwork and clothing in the cab of the thing. We're not sure he was done with it - for all we know he may have been in the homeless shelter it was parked in front of when we found it.
Bright people amaze me...

You are correct! Addicted to wet testing! And how did you know that is exactly who my hubby resembles? LOL!
Actually, if anyone ever watched "The Practice" there was a character on that show that looks identical to my husband. He still gets asked by people if they know him from somewhere, if you mention the show, they immediately figure out that the actor on the show is who they are thinking of. I don't know what his name or his character's name was, but he was heavy set with curly hair. I'll see if I can't post a picture, when I get a chance to look for one!!!

Sounds like the story of the three bears, no one really got upset until he used the hot tub, I guess you could say he really is destined to get into hot water over this. ;D

I bet it was a Cave In and JA sent him there for a wet test...I can hear him now..."Just let yourself in through the doggie door and help yourself to some goodies, no one will mind, but keep in mind, I may send some one to wet test at your house if you buy one of my spas!" ;D
