Title: cover lifter
Post by: gtballer on April 17, 2005, 10:59:52 pm
I went with the HS Vista and they are going to deliver on Wednesday. The dealer said I could have a pick of any HS cover lifter's. Looking at the site it list several.

CoverCradle® Retractable Cover System

CoverCradle® II Retractable Cover System

GlideRite® Retractable Cover System

UpRite® Retractable Cover System

Lift 'n Glide™ Retractable Cover System

HE explained that some take more space than others but I dont think that will be an issue. I think his advice was called a cover mate but I did not see it listed on their site? Any advice about which I should go with? Thanks

Just got our spa and we put the cover mate III on it.  Love it.  Easy to use with the cylinder assist it's an easy task for anyone to lift the large cover we have. :D

One of the big differences is some lifters leave the cover high which blocks the view (this can be good or bad). I decide if that's a plus or minus first and go from there.

Only the lifts you have listed are HotSpring products. The CMIII is not.

I would go with the Cover Cradle: easiest to use, very well designed and it uses the metal brackets built into HotSpring covers to attach to, instead of hanging the cover by it's hinge.
