37th anniversary I believe.   My daughter might soon be moving to Wapakoneta  :'(

Sorry to hear that you daughter maybe moving away, if so, I wish her and your family the best. May this be a good thing.
(trying to say that in the best way possible, without sounding trite.)

Moon day is my name for the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.  And in case you didn't know, Wapakoneta is the childhood home of Neil Armstrong.

Moon day and Columbus day are my own holidays.  ;)
Columbus day is officially in the fall, but for me it is July 7th as I moved to Columbus on 7/7/77

The real Columbus day is a big day here with fireworks!

The real Columbus day is a big day here with fireworks!



My big "personal" holidays are Halloween, when I have an annaul pumkpkin party that gets bigger every year.  LAbor day used to big for me, as Jimmy Buffet would come to MA and perform.  A great "end of the summer" tradition. However, the past few years, he came at other times.  :P

And of course,  Opening Day at Gillete Stadium.  That should be a National Holiday.  ;)
