Title: HOT TUB SECRETS
Post by: Steve on March 09, 2005, 10:57:02 am
In the last week or so, this has been advertised on the radio to death. For information, they ask you to call a 1-800# or go to http://hottubsecrets.com/

The site gives no information but they send you out this brochure of sorts. I entered my information so we'll see what it's all about.

Anyone else heard of this in your area? ??? I'm guessing it's a local dealer but I can't seem to determine who? Is there any way to find out from the site itself? Thx,

Steve

Already have the report ;D It's nothing special.

The purpose of that website is to gather leads; it's part of their marketing program. If you request the report you will continually receive a lot of materials from the retailer.

I get it that it's marketing (and a very unique concept at that), but what's in it that would make you enter their store?

The intelligent aspect of it is that everyone who responds is qualified to some degree as a potential spa buyer. I wish I thought of it! :'(

As a rep, I don't mind receiving material from other dealers as it helps me stay in tune with what's happening in my immediate area. As a consumer, one must realize that filling anything out on the net submits you to further advertising. It's nothing new...

Absolutely right.  This is from the top of that site.

"Your Community Hot Tub / Spa Information Web Site"

How can a site that only has one function, gather email addresses. be a source of information?  I don't even know this guy and already I don't like him.
