...because I had LASIK eye surgery last Thursday. No hot tubbing for at least a week! Arrgh!!
I've had contact lenses or glasses for a very long time, and I had to go the last three weeks without contacts before surgery. Going out to the tub wearing eye glasses was a PITA. They were always fogging up. Oh well, the weather's been crappy for most of the last month, foggy, rainy, and cloudy, so no stars to look at anyway.
On the plus side, LASIK was money well spent, possibly even better use of funds than buying the spa!! (yes, blasphemy, I know).
Can't wait to go tubbing without the hassle of contact lenses or glasses...

I hope your LASIK surgeon used the new DAIT laser.

I had LASIK almost 2 years ago, and it was the best thing I had ever done, up until that point! Then 7 months later, I had a tub in my backyard, and that has been the best thing I have done, so far!!!
It will be worth the wait!

Just the regular FDA-approved excimer laser with wavefront mapping. An Alcon LADARVision unit was the actual laser used.

You'll love your lasik as much as you love your spa.
The wait will be worth it, once your eyes heal a bit.

We just went throught the long wait period. I had cataract surgery and surgery at the same time to reduce my astigmatism. My wife had to have a cornea transplanttwo weeks later. Two days before Christmas actually. My wait time was two weeks and my wife's was three weeks. Both back in and loving it. I see better now than I have in 40 years. My wife's cornea is still healing, still no focus with it yet, Dr. says that takes months. But at least were back in the tub.

I guess I do have a snorkeling mask... ;) I suppose I should just resist temptation and stay out of the tub for a few more days.

You really should follow your Lasik Surgeons orders. You just had surgery on your eyes and they need time to heal.
Getting lasik was the best money I've spent on myself, second only to the spa, of course!
How is your vision doing, btw?
