Mainly a lot of flack from a limey.
We are picking up the new "Wingmobile" this weekend, but that is courtesy of State Farm.

how many posts on State Farm did you need to get that?

Wmccall, what is a limey?
I seem to remember it is a derogitory term for a person from the United Kingdom. Is this correct? If so, is it perfectly acceptable to make those kind of comments on this board?
Thanks

Hmm, question asked and answered by a newbie's 1st post ;)
Correct, it was once (hundreds of years ago) a derogatory term used for British sailors. This came about because the Royal navy found thier sailors who were at sea for months were contracting scurvy because of the lack of vitamin C and limes were the only citrus product, high in vitamin C that wouldn't spoil on long voyages.
While once was a derogatory term is actually a tribute to British ingenuity don't you think? That satifiy you Gerre, err I mean Spalover?

I am positively rolling on the floor with this one.
Wife is British and can build on this.
When I first met her relatives in Hamstead Heath (north London) I was offered a drink. My reply I would love a scotch (YUMMMMM!) Her uncle asked what would I like with it, upon which I replied - ICE - and lots of it. His remark to me was, (with a british accent please) Oh yes, that's right - pause - you're a colonial aren't you!. My rebutal was, well not being british I don't fancy a peice of lime in my scotch.
LMAO! big time here. Even called the wife to share with her and reminisce. Which is what we will do tonight in our hot tub! ;D TX Bill.

Let me know what she says and if I have to apologize to the entire United Kingdom or at the very least resign in disgrace from my moderator's position.
(I'd sure hate to lose the pension. 8) )

Not to mention you having to return the luxury sedan.

Most will be saying their prayers it is the latter. Deserved just for your ignorance on the subject.

I really am growing tired of you on this subject. FYI Creating several IDs just to disquise yourself won't be tolerated.
Further messages from you will be ignored. Messages specifically about the moderation will be deleted. (just yours [/b]) If you are only doing this to make me angry (must be cause your point has been made, rebutted and it just is the way its going to be) you won't succeed, I have much more important things to worry about.
If your making anyone angry its the rest of the forum with your childish inability to get over it and continue harping. May I suggest you write to the head moderator if your so upset? The rest of us grow weary of you.

Actually I heard they just switched your pension to a Cash Balance plan and with your years of service, it wont be worth much anyway. Cash Balance plans really only benefit the younger employees....LOL....(spoken like a true pension administrator)
