I was curious if most spa manufacturers use Waterway components (jets, pumps etc.) besides Hotspring. Are all the parts about the same or is there a huge difference between the competition?

My Dynasty spa uses Waterways pumps and jets. No problem with those so far. 18months.

Waterway is one of the most commonly used plastic manufactures in our industry. I'm sure that at least 65% of the industry uses something made by them!

Waterway did have a rough period with their PowerStorm jets. I have to beleive the problem has been resolved by now.
It is amazing how many spa manufactures there are and how few component manufacturers there are.

I agree. In fact I have used that in a few presentations to customers. When trying to relate the uniqueness of the Moto massage (or whatever)I have mentioned that there are only a few jet makers out there and after you have looked at a few spas, you are starting to see the same jets just re-named. Volcano, typhoon etc... kind of like tires on a car. Ford and Chevy may buy their tires from Goodyear or Firestone...
