Hey Guys,
Much like the previous post, I am a new guy who is just learning the ropes! The wife and I are looking for a spa and have visited both a Caldera dealer and Hot Springs dealer.
We are looking at a Hot Springs Vanguard which we were quoted at $7595.00 for the 05 model and a Caldera Hawaiian for $7295.00 (05 also).
We are going to wet test them both tomorrow but neither dealer wanted to budge off of this price.
Both prices come with instalation, chemicals, delivery, setup, cover, etc.
Both look like quality spas.
The dealer did not seem to want to budge on the price, are these reasonable quotes?
Also, are there other brands in this price range (or a little less) that I should consider looking at?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Well, that's a great price for the Vanguard. The fact the dealer won't budge off his price doesn't make it a bad deal - it simply means you are getting the spa for the same price his other customers pay, and you'll forget the price so soon after the tub is in your yard running that it shouldn't really bug you.

Both are quality spas and test soaking will determine which you like the best. Take a look at Marquis and Sundance if there are dealers in your area.
good luck

I bought a 2004 Vanguard last August for $7600. That, to me is a great price you have been quoted for the 2005!!!
Let the wet test be your guide!
You can't go wrong with either!!!
Good luck!

Both great spas. You might also want to take a look at Dimension One, Marquis, and/or sundance as well.
