Title: Magnets in your spa
Post by: wmccall on November 29, 2004, 09:42:37 am
If you find that after adding magnets to your spa, that you still need to use sanitizers, take the magnets out and put them in your car and you will increase your milage by 27% and not need to add sanitizer.

My apologies to those selling magnets as water treatment, if people want to buy it, that is their decision.

What if I put magnets on my neck - would I be less likely to need the Probate Lawyer link at the bottom of the page? ::)

I also do not want to get on the case of anyone who sells these things - I understand that most of the people who believe in these things will report beneficial changes to the their pool/spa.

I have sold pool and spa magnets to a few people who came in asking for them. They had used them before and offered glowing reports of less scale, more stable pH and a general softer feel to the water. I certainly have never heard of these things hurting anybody, so I order up the strongest ones I can find for them.

But I don't find any sort of test you can do to establish a measurable chemical change in the water after passing through the magnets. You know - put in some sort of test strip or do some sort of reagent test that shows an obvious change with the magnets as opposed to without.

Hmm - it occurs to me that spas with constant circulation would benefit more than those without.

My background is in Electronics and computers, despite this, my wife got hooked up with a company selling magnets to do everything up to cure cancer and I got to see a lot of that company from the inside. To me this is worse than the ones I see sold for spas. The difference being that the health related ones are sold through a "Multi-level Marketing opportunity company" (Please don't call us a pyramid scheme)  That company was more intestested in recruiting new salespeople than the product itself. No its not that compay whose "way" is to sell only in the morning (AM)  ;D

Yes, I have been approached by people in these MLM opportunities. They were as zealous about the chance to become wealthy as anything. I have worked hard to build our businesses, it what success we have enjoyed came at quite a cost over the two decades.

But to hear them, you can dump it inside of a year selling magnets. Or more correctly: selling people on the idea of selling people on the idea of selling magnets.

If this occurs, immediately contact your doctor (or your girlfriend).

The magnets work, but the Viagra made me very pale and gave me a major headache.
