Title: Can a spa help you?
Post by: Chas on November 15, 2004, 10:13:24 pm
Just a thought - why don't we list some of the ways a spa can improve your life?

Anybody?   ???

Funny you should ask this question in those particular words.... See my post under "Question for dealers and customers. "

1) A spa can help with relaxation and muscle fatigue- Imagine getting into your own spa at any hour you desire and emmersing your tired body in warm swirling water...

2) Reconnect with your spouse or family by sharing the end of your day relaxing in your own spa, being afforded the privacy of an exclusive resort...

3) Not only will you relax tense muscles through hydrotherapy, you'll also raise your bodies core temperature, which aides in preparing your body for sleep.

4) If youre single, those 'hotties' love that hot tub... It's better than having a hot car...

Yeah, i could go on... but I'll spare you.  ;D

Wow, where do I begin?

Stress relife is a given

Togetherness with you spouse and/or family is better in a spa then just about anywhere else.

You can lose weight in a spa

You can improve your circulation thereby improving you overall health

You can beat and cold or other illness by increasing your body temp

It will help you sleep better than most things you can try

It can help remove toxins from your body

It can improve your status with your freinds and neighbors!

It will increase your wifes physical attentions toward you!! ;) ;) ;D

Stuart- I'd venomously accuse you of plagiarism, but as the time stamp clearly shows, we posted within the same minute... You must have stolen Doc Brown's mind-reading helmet... Is this just a really creepy coincidence? Or do great men think alike?  ;D

Without repeating all of the above.  One of my favorite things is to be able to talk to each member of my family without distraction.
My wife and I can relax and catch up.
My 14 y/o son & I can talk sports or whatever.
My 10 y/o daughter can talk school & the latest ...
and my 4 y/o twins & I talk about the stars and the airplanes flying over and where the people may be going. We also shut off all the jets and play "What do you hear"

Of course if we are all in there at the same time, mass confusion takes place and it is anything but relaxing.  :)

Time to bask in Lori-world!   ;D

All of the above, but I really like the ability to spend some time by myself, just listening to the birds or squirrels chatter.  I can clear my mind (better than any yoga session or meditation I have tried) and really relax.  When I have had a really stressful day, which is usually every day, then it gives me a chance to let all of that stress leave my body.

It sure makes it easier to live with me, just ask my husband!   ;)

Ok this is scarey now.  First you say that how me and mine do fourms on the computers is like you and yours. Now I have to say what you said about relaxing is like me.  Are you my long lost twin?    ;D

Great examples above!

To elaborate on purging toxins, this can also be of benefit to your epidermis.

So much so that I have recommended that my customers drain and refill their tub at the end of the first thirty days of ownership. As you soak, you open your pores more completely and cleanse them more deeply than any shower could do. As a result your skin gets much cleaner, and for many people it looks much better - clearer.

Combine this with good hydration - you should drink water before during and after soaking -  and you have a toxin-purging machine!

Beer is mostly water.     Isn't it?    8)

So the consensus is to drink plenty of beer before and after using the spa, how about during?  ::)

Will that help me improve my life?

The amount of beer being drunk and when you drink it depends on the brand of beer. Some beer should go right into the toilet!

Most all beer eventually goes into the toilet.

It all ends up in the same place. It just took me awhile to figure that out.

True.  I remember when I was a ute (My cousin Vinny) anyway when I was a ute, my friend and I pooled our money and decided to get a case of Schaeffer beer instead of a 12 or 6 of a good beer.  It was the worst.  Don't get me wrong, we drank it.  But it was the worst.  I was dead all the next day.

Are we supposed to be on the middle track or the left or right one.  They are all kinda blurry.   :)
