Can anyone recommend a case for my Ipod Video? The screen will scratch if you look at it. There are so many cases out there that I don't know where to start. I sure don't want to pay $99 for the Apple Leather case. Any suggestions for me?

Gombo,
If you go look at the Apple site, there are lots of silicone sleeve type cases. I have a mini and my sleeve/case has a clear cover over the screen. Works great. I have taken the iPod to the beach, put it in a backpack and had it knock around, etc. No scratches. They also come in colors so my wife has a yellow case, my daughter a pink one and so on. After finding what you want in the apple site, there are lots of other places to find it cheaper.

Yes - the silicone cases are definitely good.
If you would like anouther option try a rhino-skin:

I am brutal on all things electronic - these are definitely a boon for me! ;D

Nice!

GB,
That is almost exactly what I have. It works great. The only hassle is that the extra thickness makes it not work when dropped into a charging cradle. But they stretch and it is easy to get them out. A bit of baby powder also helps. Looks like you also have access to that!

Gomboman,
My Palm PDA came with a scratch cover that you apply onto the screen and protects it. If your just looking for screen protection this might do the trick.

I HATE my sons Ipod. All of us in the family have an MP3 player and his is the WORST for transferring music. I cringe when there's a list on my desk of songs he wants.
His holds the most music but for the money, I'll stick to Sony or Samsung.

I have a Sandisk 512 MB and so far so good. I bought 3 of them and they are small, have a display and come with a FM radio too.
It accepts MP3 or WMA and transferring music is as easy as drag and drop ... really easy!
Not fancy or a big name but researched it and it got a lot of good reviews.
