Hi,
I live in the DC/MD/VA area and am buying my first hot tub. I'm looking for a 4-6 person with lounger, that's well built, well insulated, and has good therapeutic massage. I'm less interested in LED lighting, waterfalls or other bells/whistles.
I've called around to the different dealers to find out what they have in stock and here's what's available now:
South seas / Artesian 748 L: $10400 (+ tax)
Clarity /Balance 7.0 / Master Spas: $12K
Twilight 7.2: $14,500
Mylife (bought by Jaccuzzi): F41L / F50L/M38S ($9-12K)
I'm wondering what people would recommend or if it's worth the extra 2K for the Twilight? Are there specific questions I should be asking the dealers?
Thanks for your help!

Personally, i would go with the Artesian. It has more jets and a better warranty than the balance but is $2k less. It's a no brainer in my opinion. The balance is an entry level spa but priced at an upper mid-tier level.
The twilight will have great performance but is not as well insulated as the artesian. It's also $4k more but only has the same 3 year component warranty as the Artesian (balance warranty only 1 year on equipment). The footblasters are pretty awesome though and you may justify the extra expense for better jet performance.
Eliminate the my life hot tub. There are just a rebranded dreammaker spa which is an entry level rotomold and is way too expensive for what it is. Service is a nightmare on those things. Performance is entry level to lower mid-level.
