Title: Restoring sundance 880 Cameo? Restore plastics, rebuild cabinet, etc?

A few questions for you spa gurus. What can I use to restore bromine faded plastics? I've heard on a reddit of a guy using p-70 clear pvc primer to restore their faded plastic. I have yellowed plastics that look pretty bad. I was.thinking vinyl or plastic dye might also work.

As far as replacing a rotted bottom plywood I've thought about using 3/4 pvc sheeting and replacing the bottom 2x2 wood with composite lumber. Have any of you done something like this?

He restores tubs and is a great resource. Perhaps he may have some suggestions.
