Looking at options for my tub order.
I think I have landed on the CalSpa 867b.
They've asked if I'm interested in adding a Puresilk Ozone option, $185.
Salesman stated they are usually helpful for new tub owners but likely by the time I'd be due to refresh the Ozone I may not need to.
It sounds like a great option so that you don't use as much chemicals.
Any advice, should I get it?

$185 option? Just get it. Not a lot In the big scheme of a hot tub.
Ozone Systems do help, but won’t take away all of the chemicals.

It won't reduce any sanitizer when you are using the tub. But if you go on vacation or don't use the tub for a while it will help.

I have the ozone on my Cal Spa 867b I don't remember it being called the Puresilk Ozone but maybe I just missed that part. I think my last 3 or 4 hot tubs had the ozone, seems pretty standard to me and yeah for $185 just get it.
It doesn't really lower the chemicals you will use, but it does keep the tub cleaner. "They" always seem to tell you what ever it is it will reduce your chemical usage.. good sales ploy. I don't use many chemicals in my tub anymore any way, pretty much just bleach (chlorine) and muriatic acid.
When do you get that tub? And you will love it I think, I love mine! Heck I'm heading out there right now!
