Ok don't have alot of money to spend so I have narrowed my decision on which spa to get; either the Jacuzzi J-325 or the Sundance Caprio. Which is the better spa?
Concrete Slab of an 8x8 is several hundred dollars. So what is the least I can get away with for the foundation?
Can I do a flagstone patio? How about a gravel pit with heavy timber bracing?
???
-Thanks for your quick repsponse-

The Caprio and J-325 in my opinion are pretty pathetic units performance wise.
I would recommend the Sweetwater Bahia if you are looking at a larger tub or a Tiger River Bengal at the same size as both of those units. The Bahia or the Bengal should be around the same price range as the Caprio or J-325.
Also, you will save some money on the Caprio or the Bengal if you run those units 110V.

why are they pathetic performance wise?
and, can you get away with not having it on concrete?

I recommend to people all of the time to put down a pea gravel base for the Marquis. Most people that buy the Marquis everyday series are trying to get a spa in for under $5000 including base and electrical. Several of them accomplish that.......
