Title: Deck building update and snow squalls

Got the old joists out and installing the new raised deck to fit around tub

Sunday morning we went from green grass to 1 inch of snow in 15 minutes and 15 minutes later, back to sun.

Looks like you've got a major undertaking going on.  That's some squirrely weather, to say the least. :)

I'm anxious to see pics of the finished product (as I know you are too!)

Tub is supposed to leave CA today.................. ;D

I have to frame out a full width step yet, get the pea gravel spread and compacted.

I am going to use a wood called ipe to put on top of the deck and I think I am just as excited about the tub as I am the ipe.

Have the ipe on a trailer for the last 2 weeks at my place trying to get acclimated to this goofy weather..... 8)
