Title: Which Manufacturers are shutdown due Corona?
Post by: marcel on April 20, 2020, 01:18:10 pm
Currently shopping for a hot tub, and I am getting a lot of responses that it will take 2-3 months before new stock can arrive due to shutdowns.
So pushing me to go for on-stock / demo products.

so curious which factories are actually closed, or if it's just a bluff.

Only one I know that is just getting to production today is Marquis.  Bullfrog maybe open as well.

I can't imagine any bluffing about this.  I'm personally afraid I will be out of inventory within 2-3 week.   Anyone based in California or New York is shut down as far as I know.  No one really knows the lead time on new stock for those that are shut down, but 2-3 months is a very realistic possibility.

I ordered a bullfrog in middle of March and original completion date was 3/31. The latest update from my dealer is that it will be ready to ship from bullfrog tomorrow.

Wasn’t sure of there status. Wonder if they were shut for a bit. Not realy sure what’s going on with Utah. I’m near Boston and it’s pretty bad here now

I was told they are just running a smaller staff to allow for social distancing. I think they've been running the entire time, but at a slower production rate.
