Title: Hot tub cover orientation

Hello, I'm getting a master spas twilight 8.25 - 2 weeks until delivery.  I have a deck and the hot tub will be recessed on 2 sides of it like this:

    ------------------
          DECK


The tub is square, and I'm wondering if hot tub covers and cover lifters can typically be mounted to any side of the tub such that I can get the right configuration I want.

I have the same tub.  You can orient the cover and the lifter however you want.

Can't wait to see how you like it!

depends on the spa and cover lifter chosen really...I mean you can mount pretty much all of them in the 'side to side' orientation like you want but that doesn't mean it's a good idea especially since you may (again depending on the spa and cover lifter chosen) be screwing the cover lifter hardware directly into the door panel only and that isn't a good idea imo.  I would just confirm with your dealer that if they install the lifter in that orientation that the hardware is hitting a support beam and not only being attached to the door...Good Luck!

Thanks for the info. Hopefully there is support beam in the right place. Hopefully it’s here next week.
