Title: How much does a tub depreciate in 3 years?

Just curious if anyone has sold a tub for an upgrade after 3-4 years and what percentage was the tub worth.
Does sundance offer any upgrades and do dealers ever purchase used tubs?

Hmmmm... would a transferable warranty make a difference?

What do have in mind?  

I have seen a few dealers with used tubs.  I suspect that these were trade in's but I didn't ask for details.  
This is the Master spa dealer across the street from my office.  They always have newspaper adds offering to take trades.  My Sundance dealer does not accept trade in's or sell used tubs.  But they are a large furniture retailer.  


With other consumer goods I've checked, the dealers often pay about half of what they intent to sell something for.  Not sure at all if that would apply to spas or not.

Emplogation is all over it.  A transferable warranty encourages a better resale value of anything especially spas! ;D

A real general ballpark for depreciation is about $70.00 (Can) per month usage. Then apply common sense depending on the condition...
