Title: Move Hot Tub
Post by: brian_tr on June 07, 2018, 05:33:15 am
Finally got my cover from the cover guy.  Seems like vinyl kind of thin to me but time will tell.  I ordered the Cover Valet NP509 lifter so I dont have to put weight on the hing seam. I will have to move my 2000 Sundance Cameo at least a foot to make room.  Any hints for sliding the tub once I empty it by myself?

What kind of surface is it on? Push.

Its on cement.  Was not sure if OK to just push it or not without tearing anything up.  Hopefully with it empty it will push without to much trouble.  Just need to go a foot.  Its getting pretty old but hope to keep it going for a while yet.

Well finally moved it, now I really need the hot tub,  and while installing the lifter noticed one of the arms are bent pretty good.  Going to send back.  Now I am not sure that sliding the cover back and forth isn't worse that lifting at the seam.  Don't want to puncher the barrier.  Not sure whether to get a replacement or just get another lifter that lifts at the seam?
