Title: Yet another J-335 "FL1" error ..

My 6 year old Jacuzzi J-335 is showing the FL1 error code, no circ pump, no heat. Jet pumps will run. My questions:

Should the flow switch, with no water flowing, register as normally open or normally closed ??  It now reads open.
The circ pump does not even try to run - there is no voltage going to it.  If the flow switch is OK, could it possibly be a defective relay on the board (K3 ?) ?? Anyone had success just replacing the relay ? I would really rather spend $5 for a new relay than $500 to replace the board.

If you have an FL1 and no power to the circulation pump, you have a bad relay on the circuit board.

Flow switch with no water should be open
Flow switch with flow should be closed
