Hello good folks,
I have recently inherited a hot tub - I've had it serviced and cleaned and am about to sill it for the first time.
I have a 1kg pot of Aquasparkle Spa Bromine Infused Granules, however I find the instructions on this product to be unclear.
It says "Freshly filled new spas require an initial start up dose of 20mg/l (ppm) of free chlorine..."
How do I know how much of the product to add to the spa, in the first instance?
Many thanks for any help.

When I was using bromine I used the little packets of bromine start up. if I remember correctly they were for 200 gallons of water so I added two for a 400 gallon tub. Do what it says on the start up package.
Bromine was always confusing to me because there is always a bromine bank in your tub and when bromine kills something it converts and then when you shock it converts back, or something like that. Chlorine seemed simpler as it gets used once and is gone.

Look at something like this:

No measurements needed...Just one packet up to 500 gallons of water.
