Title: Is an ozenator needed on a Jacuzzi J-365?
Post by: cbdawes on August 08, 2017, 02:06:29 pm
Hi all,
I'm getting ready to order my J365 and one of the options is an ozenator for an additional $225.  Is it necessary or beneficial with the clearray system that the Jacuzzi's come with?  I have asked the dealer, but wanted to get other opinions.

Thanks!

Neither the Clearray or the ozonator are necessary but both are beneficial to a degree but its tough to put a price what they're worth.

One came with my first hot tub then I put a replacement in it. But never could tell the difference. So I skipped it on this one

I opted for the ozone generator on my Sundance Aspen.  My thinking is that with the ClearRay and the Pro3tect Ozone generator I may be able to use fewer chemicals to keep the sanitation at a safe level.  It was worth the small increase in price as far as I was concerned.
