Title: 2008 Maxxus "Filter Annunciator" error
Post by: Smoke_1 on July 05, 2017, 01:36:31 pm
Hi all,
I checked on the tub a few days ago and noticed I had an error message. It was a flashing picture of a filter with a water drop superimposed over it. My manual calls it a "filter annunciator". It says, "clean or replace filter". Seemed simple enough. I replaced the filter. It's still flashing and I'm at a loss as to what else it might be talking about. Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
John

Try shutting it down at the breaker for 10 minutes then turning it back on.

Hey Tman122, I shut it down for 20 min. (that's what the store advised). It came back with the power. I was hoping that would reset the alarm. I figured between power off and new filter.... maybe that would work. Not yet. Is there another cause for that error?
Thanks for the help,
John

If it is just the filter reminder and the spa is running fine, this should help.

Thanks Jacuzzi Jim, I'll give it a try when I get home.

Sorry it took so long to get back. You were right Jacuzzi Jim, it was just the reminder to "clean or change the filter". I followed the steps on the link you posted and it went away. I also noticed that the time was an hour off, so I looked up how to adjust it and right by there was a section on "how to set the filter reminder. Oops.
Thanks again for the help,
John
