What ever happened with your customer who wouldn't pay you? He was waiting to refi his house I believe. Just curious as I have a story that is very similar and possibly more bizarre. It would take a long time to explain but if anyone is interested in the details let me know as it goes to show there are some real dirtbags among us.

We are taking him to court. He got angry that I wanted my money.

I had one of those last year. He waited until went into court, requested a Mediator and then when we sat down with the Mediator he pulled out his check book and said he was always planning on paying us but wanted to see how far we would take it! AFTER A YEAR?!

How long between the delivery and the court date?

Almost a year! And, he called us because he broke a cover clip once, had a party once and couldn't get his water straight then the final straw was that he called after 6 months and said we didn't put the spa were he wanted and insisted we come out. He was very frustrated each time when we told him until he paid the balance on the spa we would service it but, only under the conditions of the warrenty.
