Title: Brand new StrongSpa Popping fuse
Post by: hunterspad on March 20, 2017, 05:53:14 pm
Any ideas? Its been a HECK of a day. With everything. Spend a good chunk of money get it here, Only clicking noise from the pump, called customer service they suggested checking the fuse, Well it was blown Spent $10 on 2 of them put it in BAM awesome our brand new StrongSpa Hot Tub was working!!  Pulled the power from it so I could safely put everything back together. Put the power back to it back to the clicking noise... So I guess the fuse has popped again! So now another 20 min pulling the panel since its against the side of the house to trying with the other fuse.

Any tips or suggestions on this?

Thanks!

Re check your wiring

Agreed, seems it's wired wrong. Common to common and not ground?

Ending up figuring it out, One of the wires got pulled out due to tugging when putting the panel and conduit back on. But now another slight issue, not sure if its because of it being new, but the inside maritals are so rough on the skin.

Is it a rotomold tub or acrylic?

I'm pretty sure its rotomolded, Its one of the Strong Spas tubs that comes with the fancy easy to use cover.

Could just be the way those tubs feel.  The rotomold style will be a bit rougher.  I sell Nordic and have never heard of a complaint like that.  Have never really seen a strong up close before besides at trade shows.  Could also have to do with water chemistry
