I have a concrete slab and pool screen about to be built to house a spa.
They were talking about a 2 " slope. The manufacturer said 1 " was okay . BTW the slab is 25' width x 20" Long.
The manufacturer also said to place the skimmer/filter on the low side which is not really possible.
Is 1 " really going to make much of a difference?? What is the issue?
Thanks

2" slope is 1" in 10' so an 8' tub has less than an inch of tilt. Your should be fine. Might be a little high on one side and splash out more during your party's. Make sure the suction weir is at the right water level always.
There are ways to level just where the tub sits. Is that not an option?
I would notice it because I'm picky that way. Most won't notice it.

Thanks for responding, can you explain a bit more about this is possible??

There are products you pour into a form and they harden and level the surface. Rapid set concrete leveler.
If the mix is watery enough it will self level inside the form.

Mine is on a slope. The contractor made it work. It's slightly sloped, maybe the 1" and the skimmer is on the receiving end of the slope.
