Hi. I'm about to buy a house that has a Saratoga Springs Spa, circa 2000 or close to then. My instincts are to get rid of it and get a new or recent used one. Even if maintained, as someone said here a 10 year old Spa is like a 20 year old car. Am I wrong?

If it was maintained properly you maybe able to get a couple more years out of it. I would keep it until it had a problem then replace. Saratoga makes a decent tub. They have come a long way in the last 15 years as far as energy efficiency and hydrotherapy though. Take a look around and see what's available. A lot of dealers are having end of the year specials to get ready for 2017 models
