Title: Nordic or Freeflow?
Post by: hudson1984 on September 24, 2016, 07:26:19 pm
Newb to the hottub market

Have narrowed my choices to the Freeflow Azure or the Nordic Retreat MS.

500 difference in price (Azure is cheaper).

Anyone have opinions on either brand?

Will it be worth spending the extra 500 on the Nordic (extra seat, jets etc..)?

What is the better investment for the long term? Quality of product? Maintenance?

Quality, maintenance and most everything should be pretty equal between the two brands. You need to review what you're getting extra for the model that is $500 extra and whether its worth it to you.

Two different tubs. The Nordic is bigger, has more jets and I believe a bigger pump (1 1/2 versus 1 hp) to support the extra jets. I like the fact that the Nordic has the whirlpool jet as part of there dual therapy system. I'm actually surprised there is only a $500 difference between the two. Warranty on Nordic is also better. Both are quality tubs for the price but I think Nordic makes a better product (my opinion). Factory support should be a wash because both Nordic and Watkins have great factory tech support. Nice thing about both tubs is they are fairly easy to fix out of warranty and parts are relatively inexpensive. What did you like about both?  What did you dislike?

Easily Nordic, it will actually have jet pressure and a MUCH nicer looking cabinet
