Title: what to do about a leak
Post by: peterbrinson on September 11, 2016, 09:59:09 pm
Bought a used Softub 220 today.  The motor connects to the tub by 3 horizontal tubes.  After I filled it up, I noticed a small leak coming from the bottom tube - not from where I connected it, but from inside the tub.  I can't see or get to it because the leak is inside the liner/exterior.
What should I do next?  Has anyone had this leak?

Thank you.

Go to Youtube and type in 'Spa guy leak' and he has a bunch of helpful videos that will show you exactly how to track back a leak, where to get the repair parts and how to repair it. It'll help you out immensely. If it's on the bottom of the tub you may need to raise it up, and you can use some 4x4's and prybars to work it up in the air if you need to. Good luck.
