Title: I've Created a Monster!
Post by: East_TX_Spa on November 29, 2005, 09:25:32 am
Dad gum!

Yesterday was the last day to RSVP for my Inaugural East Texas Spa VIP Night.  As of right now, 111 people have RSVP'd.  Add into the mix about 20 more support folks and we are going to have a big time party.  I was expecting maybe 50-60.

If this party is a big hit, I think next year I will rent a banquet hall at one of the hotels and throw the Biggest Little Hot Tub Party in Texas.  Some of ya'll will HAVE to come to that!

December 3rd is the big party.  I just talked to the caterer, the cigar supplier, the DJ, and the beer folks.  Everything's good to go except for the swimsuit models.  That's going to be a last minute decision.

Sure sounds like a hoot, won't get there for the 3rd though. Next trip I'll give you a heads up, I see a day or so filled with beer, automatic weapons and cigars.

I have beer and stogies, but no automatic weapons. :'(

I told my wife I wanted a machine gun for Christmas and she said that was fine as long as I didn't bring it to bed with me.  She just doesn't get it, I guess.

I'll bring the guns and ammo. Tried to get a picture of Sig SG551 in here, computer skills are limited though.

The Thompson is cool, never got a chance to play with one.

Outstanding! The optics are an ACOG that we talked about in an earlier thread. The fore end light looks like someone made it in shop class though...

That is a tremendous rifle, you can see the mags clip together (makes it heavy though), when you select three round burst, you get 3 rounds every time (unlike the M16), the buttstock folds over and makes for a very compact weapon. Got to play with the 551 and 552 quite a bit, we have 6 on the way and I get issued one! Free guns and free ammo, gotta love it.

Nice arsenal, guys!

Great price on that Colt, Terminator.

Don't worry, I haven't.  I talked to the cigar man today and I told him to hook me up with something nice for you and Dr. Spa for the services you've rendered behind the scenes in my battles with the liberal elitists.

They're also giving me a humidor with cigars as a door prize.  How cool is that!

Very Cool.

And watch out with that behind the scenes liberal elitist talk.  I'm not sure the statute of limitations has expired yet.   ;)

So Term,
Did I tell you about the new Texas survivor game...?

The rules are;

you have to drive through the state of TX in a BMW or Volvo with a bumper sticker that reads "I'm gay, I voted for Gore and I'm here for your guns"

If you make it through you win!!! ;) ;D

Can't beat it for $300. :)  When you get your Sig, wanna trade?  I'll throw in the Ruger to sweeten the deal. ;)

Uh.......................NO!

I need to learn how to post pics, I've got some nice toys to share. One of my favorite desk toys is a tomahawk from American Tomohawk Company. I've got the LaGana tactical tomahawk next to three Randall knives in holders and everyone wants to fingerf*** the tomahawk.

It is great for intimidation, may help you close those indecisive buyers.

This is what I've been playing with in my pocket the last few days, .50 cal rounds.  I bought a couple so I could convince my wife that I needed a Barrett so these bullets wouldn't go to waste.  She believes in "waste not, want not."

I'm so devious I ought to be a salesman!

I may take you up on that if you throw in info on getting me wireless. I can guarantee you safe passage through Gahanna, beyond that you'll have to E&E.

Watch Sunday's paper there are a lot of deals on wireless routers this time of year. A good one can be had for $70-$100 and they are easy to configure.  Just don't get an old Wireless - B router that someone is dumping for $39.

E&E?  Escape and evade?  Shouldn't be hard in Gahanna, you guys couldn't even catch a lion in a suburb. ;)  But I guess he/she never barricaded itself, so it wasn't a SWAT issue.

Hey, have you ever seen how fast those damn things run? Also, an AR15 is great for people, but you feel REALLY uncomfortable looking for a lion with one. My .45 felt downright silly.

Well, I'm signing off until next week.  Party day is today and there is lot's to do.  I'm having a tent set up in the parking lot right now to hopefully accomodate the 200+ people that are coming.  Got 12 cases of wine, 20 cases of beer, $500 worth of cigars, and 25 big party platters of food.  Hope everyone has a good weekend and I'll probably have some good pics for ya'll next week.

Take care!

I know this was meant in jest, but regardless of anyone's politics, it is not funny to make a joke about a tragic accident in which several families lost loved ones.  On the other hand it is disrespectful, not to mention moronic >:(

this year a lion is running around ohio?? 2 years ago it was a guy taking pop shot on freeway over passes. made the 71 a much more interesting drive though.
